Existing, Planned, Announced and Under Construction Power Plants
Finding a current, comprehensive list of planned, announced and under construction power plants is almost impossible. Keeping track of who owns what existing power plant is frustrating, time-consuming and tedious. While the EIA list provides a start, it is dated and cumbersome and does not include planned or under-construction plants. Other sources of information are prohibitively expensive, and accuracy still must be double-checked.
